Square Enix took the stage at Gamescom 2026 to unveil the first official glimpses of Final Fantasy VII Revelation (working title for Part 3 of the Remake). The finale of the trilogy that began in 2020 and continued with Rebirth promises to deliver the most ambitious and open world ever created in the franchise.

Full Aerial Navigation with the Highwind Airship

The panel's biggest technical highlight was the confirmation that players will be able to pilot the legendary airship Highwind in real time, soaring over entire continents without loading screens between land and sky, thanks to the power of the PlayStation 5's SSD and high-performance PCs.
